Jane Addams Daycare Center, Inc. is a
Non-Profit 501c(3) center founded over 30 years ago to provide affordable child care for working families in the area of Ocean County.
Jane Addams is licensed by the State of New Jersey, and has a contract with the State of New Jersey for a number of learning spaces.
PURPOSE/MISSION STATEMENT
Jane Addams Daycare Center, Inc. provides a program of diverse activities which are developmentally age appropriate, within an atmosphere that is warm, loving and supportive of each child's home life. All staff attempt to instill a feeling of self-worth in each child. A major goal of the Center staff is to provide the children with a daily experience offering stability, emotional security and participation in a wide range of individual and group activities. A missing ingredient in many of the children's lives must be included in the daily plans...FUN!!
Our children are from low-to-moderate income families. Parents/guardians must be working or training on a full-time basis in order to qualify. We attempt to offer the parents/guardians support, encouragement and guidance, so they may be able to offer their child an enviornment which will enable the children to grow in competency, self-sufficiency and individual expression in and out of the home.
